This is my Last Christmas without Kyler.
Hear that?!
My LAST CHRISTMAS without him!!
And I couldn't be anymore happier.
Skyping was soooo great. I truly needed to hear his voice and this month was a perfect time. He keeps me going! Just seeing him keeps me going and in a way kinda recharges my battery.
He looked great.
He sounded great.
And his humor was out the window. I'm tellin ya he was on one.
That's another thing that I absolutely love about him... His laugh and his smile. I can't help but smile myself whenever I see or hear him laugh.
I'm telling ya guys... This kid is one in a million.
3/4 done with phone calls! Now let's bring on 2013!

Dear 16, it's so good to see you.
8 more months till he's home.
8 more days till I Skype with him.
8 is great. It really is.
I love this kid more and more every single month. And I can't believe how far we have come. 2/3's of the way done! This past month has been absolutely incredible. I've made so many new friends, put myself out there more, and realized how thankful I truly am for everything around me.
Life is so beautiful.
2012. You've been to good to me.
Now lets bring on 2013 because that's when my man... is finally comin home.

Take me out to the ball game
I've been wanting to do this post for a while now, and have finally found time! What better way to get to know Kyler than to talk about his favorite game? As many of you know Kyler loves baseball. Baseball is his passion! Since I really didnt get to know Ky during his big baseball years I decided to ask his Mom for a little help. (I'm so lucky to have her:) So here goes nothing!
From what everybody tells me... Kyler was pretty much born with a baseball mitt on. Jodi says he has been playing for as long as she can remember. She tells me how she can seriously visualize him throwing a ball since the time he could pick one up! He started T-Ball when he was 4 and then moved into the Little League spending hours and hours at the ball park. When he was little he played outfield, pitcher, or 1st base. (him being left handed kind of limited positions).

This picture kinda makes your heart melt :)

Once he made the Freshman team for Mountain Crest his positions were either Centerfield or Pitcher. He started playing Varsity as a Sophomore, in which he played in the State Championships but MC lost. As a Junior he played left field and once again pitched. Another cool fact: Kyler led his team in home runs his Jr. year. As a senior he played Right Field and Would come in the final innings to pitch or save the game. One of the biggest highlights of High School baseball for Kyler though... was definitely winning the State Championships his Senior year. He just smiles from ear to ear when he talks about that game :) Ky had the wonderful opprotunity to play ball in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Wyoming, Arizona and New Jersey.
Kyler LOVES baseball. Even for our first date we ended up at the ball park hitting some balls. That was the the greatest date of my life! Before he left, I even got to see him coach. Also when we were dating, we went to a lot of the YSA softball games and I loved being there with him. One of my favorite memories is I remember him out in the outfield, and he was getting so bored! Keep in mind... YSA softball is not really as competitive as High School ;) He ran up to me when it was his teams turn to bat and said "should we just leave? This is not even fun to me." I said "No no no! I loved watching you play! Find a way to make it fun." then he came back with "I'm gonna catch a ball for you, with my RIGHT hand. No mitt!" (Keep in mind Kyler is left handed). and I just smiled. I remember him getting back out into the outfield... and suddenly a ball got hit in his exact direction. He lifted up his mitt to catch it! Nah catching a ball with his mitt would be to easy right? This big smile just came to his face... He ripped off his mitt and threw it to the ground. And yes, just like that... Mr. Webb caught that ball. With his right hand. In between his legs... hahahahah! And if he didnt think he was the neatest thing than I dont know what did. Yes Ladies and Gents. he caught that ball for me. And all I could do is sit on the bleachers and laugh :) His love for the game makes me love the game. I absolutely love how he even writes me in letters saying "So I can coach when I get home right? You will be okay with that?" and I just write him back and say "Of course, I wouldnt have it any other way." :)
I love this Kid. And EVERYTHING about him. :)
Here are a few more pictures that are my favorites.

thankFUL
Thanksgiving Day 2012. Feeling very blessed. My very last Thanksgiving -without- Kyler. This Thanksgiving is one that I will never forget. Being with the ones you love truly does that to ya. It's as if life slows down, for just a few moments, and you really take in everything. Each year is a new adventure, and it's kinda-really weird to think this could be our "last" one with our little family. Next year Steve will be on his mission, next year I could be married, next year- dare I say it... Will be here in the blink of an eye. Perfect time for me to be THANKFUL for now. The present. And enjoy every little second I can with the ones who matter most.
Family.
And how thankful am I that mine is forever.
I love my Family. They are my life. I may not have thought so a few years ago but now... They are my everything. I'm thankful for this humble holiday that we get to spend together.
I'll be honest though... I can't wait till next year :)

15 Months
Guys,
It was the 17th today. Which means major girl party at the Webb residence! Kyler had been out on the mission for 15 months now! And that my dear friends is very much worth celebrating. Ah this is so crazy!
Ay Carumba!
And let me tell you... Us girls did what we do best. Painted our toes, made delicious cake balls, talked and laughed, and even scored some pretty hilarious home videos. I love this family with all of my heart and I can't even begin to express how much they mean to me.
There is never a dull moment on the 17th of each month.
+ I got pretty lucky this time and cut Elder Berg and Elder Scott's hair today. The terms were if they agreed to be in my blog I would cut their hair in return. Lets just say they were honored :) I'm so thankful for all of the missionaries around the world and for the example they show to me. Fifteen months baby.. 9 more to go.
+ no big deal or anything. But 37 more days till Christmas. I am one happy girl.

Imaginary Boy Syndrome
Imaginary Boy Syndrome: Where you start feeling like they can't possibly be real and must have just been an imaginary friend. It comes and goes.
And someday, he'll be back and he'll be real and you'll realize that he's even better than you remembered and you couldn't possibly have imagined anything as great as him :)

Fallin' Leaves
I don't know what it is about this time of year that makes me really appreciate the wonderful blessings in my life. For those of you who know me.. I absolutely love Fall. I love the colors, the weather, the time spent with family... I love it all. This year has been a little different. Lately, I have literally just stopped myself and looked around at how beautiful my life really is. I need to learn to do this more and just slow down.
Yeah okay- I think about all this stuff when I'm rakin leaves. I'm crazy, tell me something I don't know. I decided to leave these pictures black and white so you all could truly see how beautiful my life really is. I know my life gets a little out of control sometimes.. Okay who am I kidding? A lot out of control, but what a blessing it is to stop the clock for five minutes and have not a care in the world. I love this crazy, tragic, sometimes almost magic, awful, beautiful L.I.F.E.

Relief Society Broadcast
What a beautiful September day for the General Relief Society Meeting. And what a great opportunity for me to go with 2 very special ladies near and dear to my heart. Listening to the talks and music was truly inspired and you can feel in your hearts that these leaders are men and woman called of God. Each and every speaker said something that I really needed to hear. Thank you Jodi for the tickets!

Legal,{21}
It's in the blog title. I Hillary Hoggan am 21. I don't think it's really hit me yet, except for the fact that I feel darn old. Here I sit, layin in bed, in my Tennessee jammies (is that how you spell that??), listening to John Mayer in the back ground, and all I can keep thinking about is how I am the luckiest girl in the world. My birthday was beyond amazing! Filled with great company, which to me makes all the difference. Crazy how this time last year... I was thinking only one more birthday till he gets home! And how far away that next birthday seemed.. It has now come and gone. And this time next year I will be celebrating with my one and only.
It's just crazy.
I feel so overwhelmed with the love people have for me, that love I was able to see this week. It truly gives me the warm and fuzzies. I have the best friends and family! And I can't imagine celebrating my 21st birthday with any one else! Except Ky. But we have the rest of my birthdays in eternity for that :)

Month Thirteen
Hangin in there. Yes yes I am. Bet ya didnt know this but... 13 is my favorite number. Ever. I always loved number 13 because no one else ever did.. Bet ya didn't know this either... this month was my hardest one yet. Funny how my lucky 13 failed me this time! It did go by just as fast though (surprise surprise) which is definitely a good thing. One thing is for sure though. I could not do any of this without my family, friends, and Savior. They are my support group and they are my cheer leaders. And I cannot even begin to express my appreciation for everybody that has helped me through the hard times. So here is one big...
THANK YOU!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every sweet text message, smile, phone call, and sincere words of wisdom just saying "hang in there!"
I truly couldn't do any of this, let alone be at my 13th month without any of you! Here's to the next 11 months! May they be just as great! Better buckle up and enjoy the ride :)

To My Best Friend :)
Let me tell you a little bit about my best friend. Aside from being beautiful, in great shape, tall, a great nanny, expert clean freak, smart, excellent guitar student, and an incredible comedian.. (sorry guys she's taken!).
She is my best friend. My other half.
And that alone means everything to me. To all of those reading this, this is a tribute to my best friend! No we are not sisters, and no we are not cousins (yes we get that all the time folks;) even though I truly think we knew each other before comin to this earth. What would I do without this girl? Recently... I had a very very hard week. I truly didn't know if this waiting was killing me or making me stronger... Without my best friend I think I just about gave up... But she has been here for me the whole time. Believing in me and cheering me on. And I'm happy to say I made it through this challenging week because of her :)
So BrookeAnn.. I just wanted to let you know that you are amazing. You are my rock. I wanted to thank you for everything you have ever done for me. You have always been there when I needed you, and you were always by my side when times got rough. I want to thank you for trusting me, and listening to me when I needed you to. I want to thank you for always making me laugh and putting a huge smile on my face! I cannot even fathom you ever leaving my life. We truly have a unique kind of friendship, one that most people don't get to enjoy. It's only been 6, almost 7 years since I met you, but it seems like its been a lifetime. And I can't wait to see what else will happen in our beyond crazy life as we continue to be there for each other forever.
This post is to you, for you, about you, and dedicated to you. I love you :)
Best Friends Forever and Always, now here are some beauties from forever ago! We haven't changed one bit ;)
