Engaged!

Yes I'm behind.

Yes I haven't blogged in forever.

Yes yes yes I know.

In my defense I've kinda had a lot goin on lately... :) 

So here's the update!

We are engaged! Labor Day :) Ky took me to the temple-yes the whole family was there- read me my last letter.. Which was beyond perfect. At the end it said... P.S. Will you marry me?

Speechless. Is that even a question. I had only been waiting for this day for 2 years!

YES YES YES!!!

And there he did it. He pulled out that perfect ring. Gave me a perfect kiss. At the most perfect temple. 

Did I mention this proposal was absolutely perfect.

I love you Kyler James! And I'm sooooo honored and thrilled to be your wife.

The Homecoming

Today was Kyler's BIG day.

Believe me. He's a fan of those. And he loves being the center of attention. *Cue the sarcasm* 

It was an absolutely perfect day though. He did a fantastic job on his talk. Which comes to no surprise to me :) he makes me so proud! Love you Elder Webb.

He's home. And it's better than I could have ever imagined. I would do it again, I would wait another two years if it meant I could be this happy. Worth every tear, worth every lonely Friday night, worth every long week, worth all the hard criticism, worth every sleepless night. 

Worth the wait.

I can't really put into words how I'm feeling right now, but as soon as I do I will let you know. ❤

Family night tonight consisted of... Making welcome home banners for Elder Webb! I don't know what was more fun... The banner or the company. Most definitely the company. :)

No more pdays.

No more Mondays without this guy.

No more weekly emails.

No more "refreshing" my email every 2 seconds just to see if anything came in.

Call me crazy.. But I love Mondays :) or atleast I have for the last two years. But you know what. It's okay.

Because now I get to spend every Monday with the man of my dreams. He is my everything. And know what else? Just in case you didn't already know..

I absolutely delight in choosing to love him every.single.day. He's just that wonderful.

Dear Elder Webb,

I can't believe it's been 2 years, 14 months, and 104 weeks since I saw you last. and here we are just 7 days away from you coming home.  I miss you. every second of every day. I can't wait to see you again and catch up with everything that had happened. to talk and to laugh about everything we've done and everything we've seen. I love you more everyday. and I can't wait to see that happy handsome face of yours again. you're my best friend. and guess what?? I will see you in exactly one week. I'll see you soon then. Today I counted all my sweet letters...

And there happened to be exactly 111. 

Woah right?? Hahaha

Gosh I have loved getting these sincere love notes :) and not going to lie... I'm kinda sad I only am going to get two more. I'm going to miss getting these little guys every week. Guess what's better than getting a letter every week in the mail though? Getting to see the love of my life every single day. :) so I guess it's a far trade. :) only 13 more days till Elder Webb is home!
